Nintendo Technology Development is looking to expand its IT infrastructure services and applications for its development community by hiring a Systems Engineer.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in Systems administration/engineering, specifically with a strong emphasis on managing and supporting large-scale infrastructure environments using Linux or Windows
  • Strong foundation in computing, networking, storage and security solutions
  • Strong foundation in operating systems management (Windows, Linux), identity management (Azure Active Directory), Databases, Web Applications, Office365 Applications
  • Automation mastery: Advanced skills in Ansible, Powershell, Python/bash scripting
  • Experience with designing and managing endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, policy management, and application deployment
  • Experience managing hybrid identity environments with Microsoft Entra / AD Sync
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible and cloud-native monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Responsibilities

  • Defines technical infrastructure requirements for the organization and recommends solutions
  • Designs and implements technology systems, addressing functional, performance, security, quality, operations and monitoring needs
  • Designs and maintains disaster recovery plans and performs regular testing for critical infrastructure services
  • Installs and supports internally developed systems and third-party licensed software
  • Configures servers and operating systems for performance, recoverability and availability
  • Monitors and resolves hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely manner
  • Performs routine system upgrades, patching, and security compliance checks

  • This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
  • BS or MS in engineering, computer science, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliveries within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Participates in on-call support rotation schedule
  • Mentors and assists Associate Systems Engineers and Administrators
