L3Harris is seeking to fill Intern – Systems Engineering roles for Summer 2026 at their Canoga Park, CA location to support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with their programs and products
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics (or similar major)
- Enrolled in an advanced degree program in related major, and returning to school upon completion of the assignment
- Model-based Systems Engineering methods and tools
- System architecture modeling
- Modeling of system requirements and validation
- Integration of heterogeneous model and simulation data
- Deriving semantic information models (e.g., ontology)
Responsibilities
- Using Model-based Systems Engineering methods and tools to increase efficiencies in Systems Engineering and accelerate workforce digital transformation
- System architecture modeling
- Modeling of system requirements and validation
- Integration of heterogeneous model and simulation data to create a “digital thread”
- Deriving semantic information models (e.g., ontology)
- Developing reusable models of rocket motor systems
- Developing exemplary model artifacts

- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or advanced degree program
- Returning to school upon completion of the assignment
