Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle for the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) product line, as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS). This involves defining requirements, design, and architecture of subsystems, and ensuring successful integration, verification, and sell-off.
Requirements
- Experience in the operation, test, and troubleshooting of Naval systems
- Development of integration, verification, and validation planning documentation of integration and test plans, procedures, reports, status reports, and other related documentation
- Experience with Agile development, including project estimating, reporting, and backlog management
- Experience in programming C/C++, Python, or other programming languages. Knowledgeable in Linux. Experience with DevSecOps/TDD/BDD; Security+
- Experience with automated test scripting and automated data analysis
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals with the responsibility of defining the requirements, design, and architecture of subsystems that comprise the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) product line, as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS).
- Participate in the systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- Collaborate across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestones

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
