The company is looking to solve the problem of designing, implementing, and supporting commercial security systems for enterprise clients.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Network Design
- Expertise in at least three or more of the following: Genetec, Software House (CCure), Lenel, Gallagher, Milestone, Avigilon, Commend, Feenics, AMAG
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server configuration, server/workstation troubleshooting, IP network fundamentals, and switch configurations
- Pre-sales experience, working on Bills of Material and Statements of Work from small to complex projects
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, project management software, or other workflow tools is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and install complex security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee system commissioning, final closeout, and quality assurance on assigned projects
- Provide technical guidance on software platforms and network configurations
- Serve as an escalation point for complex engineering issues
- Provide on-site commissioning or troubleshooting as needed
Other
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Systems Engineers
- Assign projects, manage workloads, and ensure efficient utilization of engineering resources
- Work closely with Business Development, Operations, and Project Management to align project scopes, timelines, and budgets
- Identify and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to forecast resource needs, develop strategic initiatives, and drive growth
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in a technical field such as Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a proven track record of building positive working relationships
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (or as project load dictates) for on-site support
