Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) F-15 International Organization is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead the Middle East Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing (SEIT) Engineering team for Qatar and Saudi Arabia programs, ensuring technical excellence and certification compliance.
Requirements
- Experience with Systems Engineering.
- Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience with major program design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and execution of enterprise standard gated reviews.
- Experience with communication and interaction with other Boeing organizations, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure effective integration and execution of a plan.
- 5+ years of engineering related experience.
Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Responsible for integrating their team’s design and analysis in the program’s weapon system lifecycle while ensuring certification compliance for applicable certs.
- Responsible for staffing and execution of their team working closely with the engineering capabilities.
- Coordinate integrated solutions across multiple teams and capabilities.
Other
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
