EPAM Georgia is looking to lead the development and adoption of modern DevOps practices within the organization
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Systems Engineering or Software Development
- Proficiency in one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in driving an on-prem platform software solution to be hosted in a public cloud is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Argo CD)
- Experience in adopting SDLC best practices by Client teams, including solid knowledge of SDLC, release management, and modern DevOps methodologies
- Ensure platform security by establishing SDLC best practices for code scanning and security agent deployments, and coordinate security audits
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Design and oversee end-to-end DevOps solutions architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews, audits, and assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, documentation standards, and reusable solution blueprints
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to align DevOps strategies with business objectives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, with a focus on AI-driven solutions, observability, and security automation
- Establishing communication between the DevOps team, Developers, stakeholders, and Client representatives

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with international stakeholders
- English proficiency: B2+ or higher
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Systems Engineering or Software Development
- Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
