Rohde & Schwarz USA's critical infrastructure business unit is expanding and seeking talent with networking and software system integration experience to support their Air Traffic Control (ATC) programs.
Requirements
- Experience with IP-based voice communication systems
- Experience with requirement management processes and tools.
- Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design, integration, and deployment of voice communications systems / subsystems for R&S ATC projects
- Lead efforts for creating and maintaining technical documentation according to customer requirements.
- Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
- Participate in communication with customers and R&S product design team.
- Work closely with the product engineering teams based in Europe and North America.
Other
- Manage and lead a high functioning systems engineering team
- Collaborate closely with ATC engineering and program teams
- Provide input to program schedules, budgets and management plans
- Good technical writing skills.
- Good communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%.
- External candidates must be a US person capable of receiving a U.S. Government public trust clearance.
