Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for interns to contribute to finding cures, protecting the environment, and ensuring food safety by innovating in gene sequencing technology. The specific role involves supporting the marketing analytics business through systems integration and test engineering.
Requirements
- Actively working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering as a full-time student.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and a test plan based on the requirements and release schedules for a specific software or instrument release
- Complete test cases as described and detailed in the test plan
- Identify failures during test execution and log appropriate information needed to allow the developer to understand, reproduce, and address the issue
- Conduct analysis of the root causes for customer blocking issues
- Be involved in New Product development (i.e. vision system development on latest Sequencer platform)
