Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to convert customer requirements into system solutions, manage technical, schedule, and cost constraints, and support system integration efforts for end-to-end systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows-based systems.
- Experience with software installations utilizing docker
- Understanding of the entire product lifecycle, including modeling and engineering best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira).
- Experience with data collection/instrumentation methods.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software anomalies.
- Experience in development of test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Experience with containerized software deployments, including use of Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for end-to-end systems.
- Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into comprehensive system solutions.
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, including functional testing and checkout.
- Analyze and troubleshoot anomalous behavior in hardware and software systems.
- Perform Information Assurance activities, such as Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) application, executing and analyzing scans.
- Utilize and manage tools such as Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), and docker-based software installations.
