Leidos is looking for a Test Engineer to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center’s Performance and Testing Team at Fort Meade, MD, to test and evaluate critical high assurance communication systems, ensuring national leaders have assured communications in both peacetime and wartime.
Requirements
- Test and Evaluation of networked hardware and/or software.
- Test planning and test procedure development and documentation.
- Conducting test events.
- Digital test data collection, analysis and results documentation.
- Experience with network data collection and testing tools, and analysis techniques, including: Sniffing and packet capture using Wireshark.
- Python programming and scripting skills.
- Understanding of/and experience with VOIP systems, codecs and transmission standards.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a test team to accomplish technical assessments of high-assurance systems.
- Developing and executing test plans in collaboration with the government customer.
- Executing test events in both laboratory and operational environments.
- Utilizing a suite of hardware and software test and data analysis tools.
- Performing analysis of test data and documenting test results and recommendations.
Other
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or an educational equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience in test and evaluation.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write test documentation and create and deliver presentations.
