Validity, Inc. is seeking to turn complex data into actionable insights to enable data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
Requirements
- 35+ years of hands-on Tableau experience: you are the Tableau expert on your team and can independently design, optimize, and troubleshoot dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Proven ability to translate business questions into analysis, insights, and polished reporting assets.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and analytics best practices.
- Tableau Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Certification.
- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Workato).
- Background supporting analytics in a B2B SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance high-quality Tableau dashboards with a focus on clear storytelling, usability, and performance.
- Partner closely with business teams to understand KPIs, define reporting requirements, and translate analytical needs into scalable solutions.
- Analyze data trends, surface insights, and proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting and decision-making processes.
- Develop SQL queries and collaborate with Snowflake data models to support accurate and efficient reporting.
- Ensure data quality through validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing monitoring.
- Drive adoption of dashboards through documentation, training, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- Administer Tableau environments, including permissions, certified data sources, schedules, and governance best practices.
