Validity, Inc. is seeking to turn complex data into actionable insights to enable data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

  • 35+ years of hands-on Tableau experience: you are the Tableau expert on your team and can independently design, optimize, and troubleshoot dashboards.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into analysis, insights, and polished reporting assets.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and analytics best practices.
  • Tableau Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Certification.
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Workato).
  • Background supporting analytics in a B2B SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance high-quality Tableau dashboards with a focus on clear storytelling, usability, and performance.
  • Partner closely with business teams to understand KPIs, define reporting requirements, and translate analytical needs into scalable solutions.
  • Analyze data trends, surface insights, and proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Develop SQL queries and collaborate with Snowflake data models to support accurate and efficient reporting.
  • Ensure data quality through validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Drive adoption of dashboards through documentation, training, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
  • Administer Tableau environments, including permissions, certified data sources, schedules, and governance best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable balancing dashboard development with ongoing analysis, stakeholder partnership, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
  • Ability to define metrics, interpret trends, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to drive adoption of dashboards through documentation, training, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
