Peraton is seeking a Tableau Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise Tableau solutions to drive data-driven decision-making and support mission-critical reporting needs.
Requirements
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, D3, ggplot
- Proficiency in big data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop
- Experience with SQL, Spark, and ETL
- Skilled in extracting, cleaning, and transforming large transactional datasets to build predictive models and supporting documentation
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
- Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of enterprise Tableau architecture
- Ensure Tableau environments are secure, scalable, and high-performing
- Translate stakeholder requirements into effective system use cases
- Collaborate across teams to enable seamless data integration and visualization
- Troubleshoot and optimize dashboards and data workflows
- Support integration activities aligned with NGA/NRO standards and infrastructure
