Grant Thornton's Tax Technology team aims to help large, complex organizations improve their tax department operations by implementing scalable technology solutions and driving meaningful process improvements. This involves automating and streamlining calculation, compliance, and reporting activities, enhancing data management, and integrating emerging technologies to solve complex tax challenges, ultimately leading to greater efficiency, visibility, and reduced risk.
Requirements
- Familiarity with small-automation & reporting tools (e.g. Alteryx, MSFT Power Platform, Tableau)
- Familiarity with system infrastructure and application design
- Database architecture; creating queries and tables using, e.g., Oracle or SQL server
- Experience with web development techniques
- Experience working with back end databases and database management systems
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Google Cloud technologies, including their respective data and analytics tools
- Java, C++ or .NET (C or VB), R, Python proficiency
