Bastian Solutions is looking to solve the problem of maintaining quality and production levels, training and developing associates, and driving process improvement in their manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Results-driven, able to identify problem/improvement opportunities through the use of visual management tools, such as weak point management, pareto diagrams, and other TPS tools.
- Subject matter expert in relevant area of responsibility
- Experience with TPM activities
- Experience with kaizen activity
- Experience with visual management tools
- Experience with problem solving activity
Responsibilities
- Managing health and safety - Maintain safe work environment, constantly strive to improve 5S and safety.
- Improving quality through standardization, updating/improving work instructions, process inspection, and confirmation of daily quality checks.
- Improvement of machine uptime through TPM activities.
- Promoting kaizen activity - Constantly identifying and implementing improvements (safety, quality, cost, and delivery).
- Visualization of daily management KPI's to find and drive opportunities for improvement.
- Daily management - Confirm countermeasures for defects/problems, production management, and manage project schedules.
- Lead problem solving activity as necessary
Other
- Minimum High School or GED diploma
- 3+ years of Leadership experience (or comparable experience) in a high production, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Exceptional people skills – ability to motivate and inspire
- No travel is required for this role.
- Ability to work in a 1st shift schedule
