UBS is looking to build firmwide Data Observability Components on Azure to automate and scale data management, improve time-to-market for data, and reduce data downtime.
Requirements
- Hands-on delivery in any of the following (or related): full-stack web development (e.g. React, APIs), CI/CD pipelines, security risk mitigation, infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), monitoring, Azure development using AKS/ACI/ACA, data transformations, Spark, python, database design and development in any database.
- Azure Cloud
- AI (ML and GenAI models)

- Kafka, Great Expectations, ontology models.
Responsibilities
- Design/document, develop, review, test, release, support Data Observability components/platforms/environments.
- Initiate Engineering improvements.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies e.g. daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, iteration planning, iteration reviews, retrospectives.
- Collaborate with other teams and divisions using Data Observability services, related guilds and other Data Mesh Services teams.
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Point of escalation for the team to ensure the removal of blockers.
- Provide leadership and training.
