NTT DATA is seeking a Technical Data Product Owner to lead the delivery of innovative data products that provide end-to-end compliance insights across the company's global distributor network, ensuring integrity, transparency, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5-7 years) as a Data Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or in a similar data-driven role.
  • 5-7 years of strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and APIs in enterprise environments.
  • 5-7 years of experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and familiarity with SQL or other data query languages.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance frameworks.
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success in managing agile product delivery, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk management principles, especially within regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data products supporting distributor compliance and global regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Commercial Operations, and IT to align data capabilities with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design and maintain data pipelines, data models, and APIs that support compliance metrics and performance monitoring.
  • Deliver dashboards, analytics, and automated alerts that enhance visibility into distributor performance and potential risks.
  • Manage product backlogs, define priorities, and ensure iterative delivery of business value using agile methodologies.
  • Ensure all data products adhere to Thermo Fisher's data governance, privacy, and trade compliance frameworks.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements in data quality, usability, and adoption across global stakeholders and business units.

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field (required).
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related discipline (preferred).
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or Data Management certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
