VAST Data is looking for a Technical Onboarding Manager to accelerate the ramp-up of new Sales Engineers and technical hires, ensuring they have the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills to become proficient and productive quickly.
Requirements
- Proficiency with common development and productivity tools
- Basic understanding of SaaS companies
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and system administration concepts
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in technical environments
Responsibilities
- Guide new hires through technical environment setup including development tools, software licenses, and system access
- Facilitate account creation and access provisioning across various platforms and tools
- Conduct training sessions on company-specific tools, platforms, and technical processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and quick-start guides
- Document and standardize onboarding processes to ensure consistency across all technical personas
- Collaborate with technical enablement teams to understand role-specific requirements and customize onboarding accordingly
- Identify bottlenecks and pain points in the current onboarding process and implement solutions
Other
- Previous experience in employee onboarding, training, or people operations
- Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, etc.)
- Experience in a fast-growing technology company
