Electronic Arts Inc. is looking to create next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world, and the Technical Experience Designer role is part of the effort to deliver high-quality mobile sports games connected to some of the world's biggest gaming franchises.
Requirements
- Experience prototyping, building, and managing UI features from concept to release
- Shipped at least 1 game title as a Technical Designer, Technical Artist, UI Scripter, or similar role
- Experience working in a collaborative and cross-discipline environment
- Interest in UI and user experience
- Experience with Visual/Node-based Scripting such as Blueprints and Programming/Scripting languages such as C, JavaScript, Python, or LUA
- Experience working with version control software such as Perforce and Git and participating in code review processes
Responsibilities
- You will implement screens, widgets, logic, and data flows using a combination of visual and traditional scripting
- You will generate game-ready image assets from visual mocks, implement re-usable colors and font styles, and build other visual elements that align with the game’s existing design system
- Design and help build tools and workflows to support iterative development
- Work with Visual and UX Designers, as well as Software Engineers to break down design, technical and data requirements
- Break down features into defined structures, components, and processes that meet the technical, aesthetic, and functional requirements of the game's vision
- You will implement UI animation and motion of prepared screen assets to support interaction and motion guidelines
