Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and various statistical analysis techniques such as regression or linear models
- Experience with Python, R or other scripting language, and database language (e.g. SQL) or data manipulation (e.g. Pandas, Dplyr)
- 10+ years of work experience (industry or postgraduate) in data science related fields
- Strong people skills: nurturing growth mindset in the team, mentoring/coaching team members for their growth
- Distinctive problem-solving skills, ability to articulate product questions, pulling data from large datasets and using statistics to arrive at a recommendation
Responsibilities
- Building the right metrics to measure the health of MCM business
- Conducting deep-dive analysis or experimentation to influence R&D decisions and strategies
- Evaluating ads system health
- Design and deploy advanced optimization approaches to improve our ad-delivery
- Leveraging the latest advances in deep learning to evaluate and improve our search quality
Other
- Strong communication with a technical background
- Ability to build positive relationships with product, business, and engineering, and work effectively with cross-functional partners in a global company
- 10+ years of work experience (industry or postgraduate) in data science related fields
- Experience in a tech lead role, responsible for elevating the quality of work across a data science organization
