The Technical Lead is responsible for technical design, planning and execution of solutions (projects or technical team’s visionbacklog) and building and implementing technical designs by solving complex IT engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle [SDLC], application development methodologies, tools, and techniques
- 5+ years of Full-stack application development experience in a corporate environment
- Experience working with XML and JSON data formats.
- Experience/Familiarity working with Duck Creek API’s
- Experience working within the Duck Creek platform
- Experience working on front end UI/UX solutions leveraging Duck Creek Policy
- Experience with the following: .NET 8, C-Sharp, HTML5, CSS3, Git, Responsive/Adaptive design, Consuming RESTful web APIs
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers and engineers in the technical delivery of software. The focus will be on building a front-end Agent Quoting solution on top of Duck Creek Policy
- Provide leadership in the creation of strategic roadmaps focused on business and technology needs
- Assist in backlog refinement to break down the roadmaps into executable work by the scrum teams
- Act as primary technical liaison; manage communication between technical staff and all project team members
- Assist in determining project tech stack
- Assist in Proof of Technology, Proof of Concepts & Modeling of solutions for the organization
- Manage technical debt decisions
Other
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Approachability, willingness to share knowledge, and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem analysis/resolution, organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Proven success leveraging technology to meet business objectives
- Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices
