BAE Systems is looking for a Technical Writer to create and maintain technical documentation for communication and electronic warfare systems used by the US DoD and international clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy in operator/maintainer manuals, technical specifications, test procedures, and reports.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience working as a Technical Writer, preferably in a defense industry.
- Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to standard practices and conventions.
- Must be able to work independently to gather technical data from Subject Matter Experts and develop comprehensive materials with strong focus on logical flow of material and clear, consistent language.
- Demonstrated ability to write original materials.
- Strong computer publishing skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Highly skilled computer publishing skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Adobe Framemaker.
- Experience using graphics software to develop or convert graphics for use in documentation.

Other
