PTC is seeking an intern to help expand the footprint of Onshape, their cloud-native CAD and PDM software, in North America by supporting the technical sales team.
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, etc.)
- Experience in delivering product demonstrations.
- Experience with complex problem solving
- Experience and familiarity with PDM or PLM products (SOLIDWORKS PDM, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter)
- Experience with engineering software such as CAM, FEA/CFD, ECAD.
Responsibilities
- Support the presales team by assisting in the preparation and delivery of product demos.
- Become a product expert in CAD, PDM, and more.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced, in-office team to gain exposure to real-world sales engagements.
- Develop communication and presentation skills by shadowing experienced team members and contributing to demo content.
- Find new and creative ways to introduce Onshape to the engineering community
Other
- Ability to be in the Boston HQ 3 days/week
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a technical equivalent.
