Building Automation Products, Inc (BAPI) is seeking a technically driven and innovation-focused Product Manager to join their growing team to shape product design from concept to market.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude in electronics, sensors, or industrial control systems.
- Proven product management experience in a technical manufacturing or building automation environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other building automation protocols.
- Experience in environmental or HVAC sensor products.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development projects from ideation through launch, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering to evaluate designs, troubleshoot issues, and verify performance against specifications.
- Serve as the technical voice of the customer, translating market feedback into actionable product requirements.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including roadmap planning, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
- Participate directly in product testing, calibration, and field evaluations.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry standards, and competitive products.
