Google Cloud Business Platform teams are responsible for building and maintaining the engagement platforms that ensure information is consumed and processed in timely and efficient manners, and the Technical Program Manager will help solve this problem by leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
Requirements
- Experience leading software development programs.
- Experience with enterprise sales and compensation motions.
- Experience in helping teams measure and improve operational excellence, product excellence, and accessibility.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Business Platform Product Management and Engineering) to shape the goals, strategy, and roadmap for Google Cloud.
- Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and define requirements through global cross-functional partnerships.
- Assist product and engineering teams to measure and improve product excellence.
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and solutions, encourage best practices with global stakeholders to deliver a positive experience to customers.
- Drive improvements to the technical programs by capturing and sharing best practices learned from customer engagements.
- Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
- Discuss the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
