Google DeepMind's Robotics team is looking to solve the problem of building Embodied AI to power a new generation of intelligent robots by bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world application.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a technical program manager
- Prior experience working with hardware (e.g., robots, autonomous vehicles, etc.) in a research environment
- Prior experience managing collaborations with external partners
- Prior experience managing the preparation and delivery of demos in collaboration with research, marketing, and comms teams
- Strong technical background with an understanding of AI and robotics
- Prior experience working with globally distributed teams

Other
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to navigate fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, demonstrating resourcefulness and creativity in solving complex challenges and implementing scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated technical ideas to broad audiences including leadership.
- Experience working with senior leadership, confidently communicating challenges and risks while proposing new solutions.
