LibertyWorks Technical Project Manager role is responsible for providing technical leadership to an extended, multi-functional integrated product team (IPT) and getting stuff done by removing barriers and exhibiting deep engagement in project efforts. This role has full accountability for the application of a systems approach to the realization of new technology solutions aligned with our Defense Initiatives.
Requirements
- Project Management and Engineering Experience
- Experience leading or managing a team for execution of a program or in support of a functional skillset
- Familiarity with external customer interface as well delivery of engine assembly and testing experience at a system level.
Responsibilities
- Define, agree, and integrate the plan for the IPT, considering both the scope of the overall project / Work package and the activities required to understand and then produce a solution to the requirements
- Create and agree schedule for the lifecycle of IPT, manage the project plan (time and budget), and drive adherence to achieve time, cost, and quality targets.
- Define the necessary resource to achieve stakeholder requirements, and negotiate with resource managers, in conjunction with Work Package Manager (WPO) and Sub-System Manager (SSM), and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to balance load and capacity across the IPT.
- Ensure project risks (technical, cost, supply chain and timescale) are identified, managed (including integration of risk activities in the project plan), and escalation of risks in accordance with risk management plan.
- Definition and delivery of robust verification, certification and qualification strategies with internal and external customers.
- Analyzing and reporting key financial information to LW leadership illustrating business impact from a project performance and proposal opportunity perspective.

- Associates Degree in Engineering with 4+ years’ experience; OR
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 2+ years’ experience; OR
- Masters Degree in Engineering; OR
- JD/PhD
