Sierra Nevada Company, LLC (SNC) is looking to solve complex problems in aircraft systems, production components, and logistics operations by hiring a Technical Quality Assurance Inspector IV to inspect and verify compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of starting employment
- Advanced ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents
- Extensive understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Products
- Experience with first article inspections
- Prior experience with aircraft modifications
- Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft systems, production components, and support functions
- Verify our aircraft installed systems, logistics operations, production components, and support functions
- Inspect operational components for serviceability and proper installation
- Validate Field Service Technician’s work
- Develop and review operational procedures
- Function as the on-site Aviation Safety Official
- Capture and analyze statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards
Other
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Current/Active U.S. Secret Clearance required
- Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required
