Sierra Nevada Company, LLC (SNC) is looking to solve complex problems in aircraft systems, production components, and logistics operations by hiring a Technical Quality Assurance Inspector IV to inspect and verify compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of starting employment
  • Advanced ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents
  • Extensive understanding of electrical wiring concepts
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Products
  • Experience with first article inspections
  • Prior experience with aircraft modifications
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance

Responsibilities

  • Inspect aircraft systems, production components, and support functions
  • Verify our aircraft installed systems, logistics operations, production components, and support functions
  • Inspect operational components for serviceability and proper installation
  • Validate Field Service Technician’s work
  • Develop and review operational procedures
  • Function as the on-site Aviation Safety Official
  • Capture and analyze statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards

Other

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Current/Active U.S. Secret Clearance required
  • Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required
