IBM Z team needs assistance to support IBM clients and internal teams across the Americas by providing enablement, guidance, and technical demonstrations to help organizations realize the full potential of IBM Z, enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
- Familiarity with Linux command line.
- Exposure to container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing IBM Z, networking, and storage environments for lab projects and engagements.
- Participate in team activities to support infrastructure alignment for client and internal demos.
- Shadow and assist in deploying Red Hat OpenShift, databases, and automation tools under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Learn to support proof-of-concept activities, performance benchmarks, and technology demonstrations.
- Document processes, lessons learned, and observations for team reference.
- Contribute to team Kanban intake by tracking tasks and status updates.
