Sikka is looking for a Technical Support Intern to support technical inquiries and issues related to their healthcare payment application, ensuring smooth operation, minimal downtime, and HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, SQL)
- Familiarity with different payment processing techniques and gateways.
- Working knowledge of specific software programs, including Excel, and Google Apps
- Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to quickly grasp technical issues and identify potential solutions.
- Comfortable diagnosing, troubleshooting and clearly conveying technical issues.
- Familiarity with customer service applications like remote desktop (i.e. Team Viewer) and ticketing software (e.g.)
- Enrolled in a degree program (or have earned a degree) in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field with emphasis on software troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned customers.
- Help establish relationships and understand their respective technical requirements.
- Provide technical assistance for payment-related issues, account setup, and app functionality for healthcare providers and patients.
- Ensure the healthcare payment system is running smoothly, with minimal downtime.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure secure payment transactions.
- Develop and update technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Respond to bug and troubleshooting tickets using SQL queries and critical thinking.
