The Printed Packaging Material- Quality Assurance inspector will work in the Indianapolis Device Assembly & Packaging site where Parenteral products for domestic and international markets are manufactured and packaged. The primary purpose of the position is to safely inspect high quality printed packaging materials utilizing Lilly standards by following good manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- Utilizes calibrated text verification system, databased computer systems and measurement tools to perform inspection.
- Applies/obtains statistical analysis.
- Applies experience and knowledge of cGMP requirements.
- Experience with GMP’s.
- Experience working with pharma printed material is desired.
- Must be able to pass vision screening.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the review and analysis of Lilly printed packaging materials at incoming inspection according to SOPs.
- Utilizes calibrated text verification system, databased computer systems and measurement tools to perform inspection.
- Reviews production data for batch release.
- Applies/obtains statistical analysis.
- Provides support for the production area as applicable for issues arising around printed packaging materials.
- Organizes, critically reviews and presents information in accordance with written procedures.
- Ensures compliance with applicable procedures. cGMP's policies and regulations.
Other
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One to three years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work 8-hour days – Monday through Friday.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Works independently on inspections ensuring that printed material inspections meet customer due dates and quality needs.
