The company is looking to solve technical problems related to Java and Microservices architecture, specifically in the US Cable MSO IT systems
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Java / J2EE, Springs framework, JSP, Junit, Jenkins
- At least 7 years of experience in web services development using SOAP / REST
- At least 2 years of strong hands-on development experience on Micro-services stack and CI / CD
- At least 3 years of experience in working for US Cable MSO IT systems
- At least 3 years of experience in JDBC / Hibernate / iBatis, caching techniques
- At least 3 years of experience in performance engineering, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
Responsibilities
- Design, development and deployment of web applications in Tomcat, Weblogic
- Development of web services using SOAP / REST
- Hands-on development experience on Micro-services stack and CI / CD
- Support Assessment phase and evaluate Design, Code, build / deployments etc relating to Microservices
- Define new architectures and drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
- Performance engineering, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
- At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
- Analytical skills
- At least 3 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
- Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
