Income Research + Management is looking to solve challenges relating to portfolio construction, as well as AI platform and application development to drive automation, data analysis, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and related data science packages, with experience in building data pipelines and working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting, and applying insights through AI or data-driven applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms, AI frameworks, and Agile development methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of generative AI models, statistical methods, and machine learning frameworks such as Python and Azure/OpenAI APIs, with practical skills in developing and deploying internal AI platforms and applications.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of internal AI platforms and applications, including generative AI solutions that support automation, analytics, and decision-making across the firm.
- Build and maintain data acquisition and transformation pipelines to provide clean, reliable datasets for AI and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional teams on projects that advance the firm’s technology capabilities.
- Support the growth and adoption of the firm’s data science and AI platforms, fostering a community of practice among users.
- Create and maintain clear documentation of project designs, workflows, and technical artifacts.
- Participate in key project responsibilities, including design reviews, process and gap analysis, functional design, unit testing, and execution.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Python and related frameworks to support AI and data-driven initiatives.

- Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and investment workflows, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Prior work in a corporate or financial technology setting is a plus.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Expected graduation date: December 2026 or May 2027
