The Cigna Group is looking to solve the business problem of powering the backbone of digital health by hiring a Technology Development Program (TECDP) – Full Time Associate in the Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Track to design, deploy, and support secure, scalable technology environments.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security and performance monitoring.
  • Exposure to system administration (Windows), virtualization, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and tools for monitoring, configuration management, and network troubleshooting.
  • Academic projects, research, or internships that demonstrate hands-on experience with infrastructure, cloud architecture, or systems engineering.
  • Knowledge of cloud engineering, infrastructure, and systems engineering.
  • Experience with automation tools, containerization, and hybrid cloud.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering track, contributing to the design, deployment, and support of secure, scalable technology environments.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and enterprise infrastructure—helping power the systems that enable healthcare innovation across The Cigna Group.
  • Engage with peers, mentors, and cross-functional partners through community-building activities and collaborative initiatives.
  • Participate in structured learning through both core and track-specific curriculum.
  • Build meaningful relationships across the organization through networking events, mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, or informal peer engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships that support personal and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development of secure, scalable environments that support healthcare innovation.

Other

  • Full time candidates must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical program at the time of hire.
  • Preferred degrees include Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network and Systems Engineering.
  • Leadership or involvement in student organizations, technical clubs, or competitions related to cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure design.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher is preferred.
  • Must be available to work a 40-hour work week beginning July 13, 2026.
