Requirements
- Familiarity with Mainframe technologies such as COBOL and IBM z/OS.
- Ideally some exposure to other mainframe technologies such as DB2/SQL, JCL, IMS, REXX, VSAM, and CICS.
- Academic coursework, research, or internships that demonstrate an understanding of systems architecture, operating systems, or enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with IBM Z systems or participation in mainframe-related programs is highly valued.
- Leadership or involvement in student organizations, technical clubs, or competitions ideally related to enterprise computing, systems design, or IT infrastructure.
- Participation in IBM Z learning programs, mainframe hackathons, or similar initiatives is a strong differentiator.
- Apply emerging and foundational technologies responsibly to enhance efficiency, solve problems, and deliver value.

- Work within the Mainframe track, contributing to the development, modernization, and support of mission-critical systems that power the healthcare ecosystem.
- Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade technologies, deepen your understanding of mainframe architecture, and help maintain the reliability, scalability, and security of platforms that process millions of transactions daily across The Cigna Group.
