The Cigna Group is seeking technology-focused individuals to join their Technology Development Program (TECDP) Summer Internship to drive real business results and advance innovations in technology in the healthcare industry
Requirements
- Proven experience with one or more programming languages, tools, or platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, cloud technologies, machine learning frameworks)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Technical proficiency in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Experience working with cloud technologies
- Experience working with machine learning frameworks
- Experience with data analytics and engineering
- Experience with infrastructure and cloud engineering
Responsibilities
- Spend your summer immersed in a dynamic, hands-on experience that blends real-world technical work, innovation, professional development, exploration of the technical tracks that makeup our team, and community engagement
- Join a team and contribute to meaningful projects that reflect the responsibilities of full-time roles
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a high-impact Innovation Project aimed at solving real healthcare challenges
- Conduct user research, build mobile applications, and present proof of concept that could influence future healthcare solutions
- Gain practical experience, develop technical skills, and make a tangible impact on the business
- Explore technical tracks such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Analytics & Engineering, Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering, Mainframe Technology, and Software Engineering
- Participate in a curated Leadership Speaker Series to gain insights and inspiration from leaders across The Cigna Group
