Ameriprise Financial is looking to solve business and technical problems in the financial services industry by hiring technology interns to contribute to team goals and deliver projects and technology solutions.
Requirements
- Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Information Technology Infrastructure, or related field
- Prior classroom or project experience with software development/programming/coding
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with software development, programming, and coding
- Knowledge of Ameriprise systems, processes, data, and vendor tools
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, API and database development, information security, and front-end/back-end development
Responsibilities
- Define business requirements
- Develop, document, test, and modify new or existing code
- Develop working knowledge of Ameriprise systems, processes, data, and vendor tools
- Learn and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the development life cycle
- Learn new programming languages
- Identify opportunities for process improvement/automation
- Participate in Agile team ceremonies

- Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
- High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
