AEP is seeking to lead their Integration Services function, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational stability, and delivering business process integrations built on WebMethods and MFT platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing data integration and event streaming platforms.
  • Strong understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid integration strategies and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, API management, and other industry-standard integration and event streaming platforms.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, cloud-native applications, and AI-powered integration solutions.
  • Proficient in establishing and driving the strategy for enterprise integration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integration service strategies aligned with business priorities and the enterprise technology roadmap.
  • Oversee evaluation, selection, and deployment of best-in-class integration platforms to enhance business connectivity.
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of integration services in production environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging integration technologies.
  • Proficient in establishing and driving the strategy for enterprise integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, API management, and other industry-standard integration and event streaming platforms.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, cloud-native applications, and AI-powered integration solutions.

  • Lead and inspire the Integration Services technology team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify, design, and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor project and support teams to achieve delivery excellence.
  • Guide teams through organizational, technology, and process change initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive performance improvements.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Experience leading digital transformation and change initiatives.
  • Utility industry experience is a plus.
