Requirements
- Proficient with security technologies (e.g., IDS/IPS, advanced encryption standards)
- Manage security projects (e.g., endpoint protection rollouts, new tool deployments)
- Coach team members on security tools
- Streamline security processes (e.g., simplifying log onboarding tasks)
Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve incidents, problems and operational issues across security platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis, implement workarounds and preventive measures.
- Raise complex issues to Tier 3 support teams following defined processes.
- Assist with major incident management, communication and post-incident reviews.
- Provide Tier 1/2 support for routine tasks like deployment, configuration, patching and upgrades.
- Implement operational runbooks, maintenance activities and health checks across platforms.
- Assist with developing automation scripts and workflows to increase operational efficiency.
Other
- Effectively communicate with internal teams like security engineering and vendors
- Provide updates and coordinate maintenance/change activities
- Gather operational requirements and represent the operations team in planning sessions
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to team members
- Participate in the 1-year Global ELITE+ (Eli Lilly Information Technology Experience) program
