The Technology Solutions Department is looking for an application development intern to create dashboards and analytics using their Data Warehouse and Power BI platform, contributing to a "showcase" project tailored to their interests and background.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SDLC and analysis practices / techniques
- Exposure to a relational database system (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle or MS Access)
- Exposure to Data Visualization tools including Power BI (preferred), Tableau and / or Qlik; exposure to Excel Data analysis tool, R, Python a plus
- Demonstrate foundational understanding and hands-on experience with AI agents, including basic implementation and interaction principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and implement new applications and / or enhancements to existing applications that are scalable and maintainable using primarily Microsoft-based technology including, but not limited to: Visual Studio, SQL Server and .NET
- Prepare and execute unit and system tests
- Implement the final software to production following our standard change management procedures
- Participate in problem analysis and assist in determining software solutions and enhancements
- Document and review requirements with the subject matter experts within the Technology Team and business team and participate in the design of the solution
- Quickly learn the technology platform in scope and understand the business use and objectives for the system
Other
- Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science / Analytics or a similar degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture
- Hybrid work schedule (required to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week)
