Neurocrine Biosciences is looking to enhance its ServiceNow platform to meet complex organizational needs, improve process efficiency, and ensure data consistency across enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • 4 years’ experience building or maintaining Rest APIs
  • 4 years’ experience with web-based development languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, HTTP, XML)
  • 4 years’ experience with SQL and relational databases
  • 2 years’ experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules
  • 2 years’ Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), or Security Operations modules
  • Experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer – (included recent Deltas)

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Design scalable, robust, and innovative ServiceNow solutions that align with business needs and technical requirements. Guide the architecture and implementation of core ITSM processes, custom applications, and integrations.
  • Provide deep expertise in ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, and others. Stay up to date with new features, functionalities, and best practices in ServiceNow.
  • Mentor and lead a team of ServiceNow developers, offering guidance and support in code reviews, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using the ServiceNow platform. Ensure that solutions are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and smooth operation across platforms.
  • Ensure all ServiceNow solutions adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements. Implement access controls, encryption, and other security measures as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to work in a team and work independently.
  • ITIL related certification – Foundations or higher
  • Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
