Rapiscan Government Services is looking for a temporary Sr. Software Engineer to plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in software development on Windows platform (Linux nice to have).
- Solid computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms).
- Languages: C++, C-Sharp, Python, XML, XSD
- Development tools: Visual Studio, InstallShield
- Operating Systems: Windows
- Source code management: GitLab, Bitbucket
- Databases: SQLite, SQL Server
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze requirements and operational problems.
- Maintain, build up, and port legacy products.
- Creating and building applications from the ground up.
- Design and implement efficient, reliable and scalable applications.
- Deliver high quality code.
- Integrate and deploy the software to variety systems.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
