Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring a TEMPEST Test Engineer to support programs for US military and international customers, keeping the world safe from foreign threats.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a EMI or TEMPEST test engineer
- Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing test results
- Experience in Configuration Management tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Demonstrated skills in writing/following procedures
- Familiarity with following Standards: NSS TEMPEST/01-02, MIL-STD-461A/C/D/E/F/G CE101, CE102, CE106, CS101, CS02, CS103, CS104, CS106, CS114, CS115, CS116, CS117, CS118, RE101, RE102, RS101, RS02, RS103, RS105
- CPTE I certified
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all process of testing: analysis/design guidance of the system, test planning, test conducting, data analysis and reporting
- Be responsible for Acquisition system and data storage security and lab safety
- Less than 10% business travel may be required
Other
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Less than 10% business travel may be required
- Candidate must be able to pass the CPTE I NSA certification and grow to prepare and pass the CPTE II certification
