Requirements
- Understanding of relational databases and experience writing queries in SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience in data manipulation and visualization, utilizing Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Competence in the areas of data structures, data manipulation, and data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Planning and design of a Power BI dashboard to present metrics on credentials earned at Nashville State Community College.
- Analysis of similar products at comparable institutions.
- Product development.
- Assembles and executes SQL code from the NSCC code repository to gather necessary data.
- Develops and supports data visualizations, including Power BI dashboards.
- Writes complete and understandable documentation of the process and product.
- Presents information in a professional manner to the college community.

- Communicates with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners to understand their data needs and determines how best to support their programs.
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and present data clearly, concisely and in appropriately useful forms to various constituencies.
- Ability to work effectively with the various constituencies of the college.
- Knowledgeable of the goals, objectives, and operations of the college.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to translate technical issues for a non-technical audience.
