RSM is seeking an experienced AML Audit Manager to join its AML Audit Group in support of a global banking client, focusing on consent order remediation, issue validation, and regulatory readiness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Internal Audit (Third Line) experience in BSA/AML and sanctions at large global banks.
- Demonstrated success leading audits tied to consent orders, MRAs/MRIAs, or regulatory enforcement actions.
- Familiarity with audit methodologies and ability to assess complex AML control environments.
- CAMS certification (or equivalent) highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. and global AML regulations, including FFIEC, BSA, OFAC, and related guidance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to produce concise, regulator-ready deliverables.
- Ability to lead and execute end-to-end AML audits across transaction monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD), sanctions screening, and governance frameworks.
Responsibilities

- Manage consent order remediation and issue validation audits, ensuring regulatory expectations are fully met and sustainable.
- Review and validate control design and operating effectiveness to support sustainable remediation.
- Develop and review comprehensive audit workpapers and reports that meet both internal and regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in AML risk and controls; mentor and oversee audit staff.
- Lead AML audits, focusing on consent order remediation, issue validation, and regulatory readiness.
- Deliver high-quality, regulator-ready documentation while guiding audit teams through impactful reviews.

- Ability to work on client site 4-5 days per week in Salt Lake City, UT; New York City, NY; or Dallas, TX
- Travel requirements: up to 20% of the time
