Enhance accessibility, migrate dashboards to improved data pipelines, and implement automation in the Data & Analytics division of the Office of Information Technology at CU Boulder
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in applied math, statistics, computer science, data science, social or natural sciences or related field
- 3 year(s) of professional experience which includes utilizing CU Boulder institutional and/or survey data to develop dashboards, data visualizations, and reports specific to CU Boulder decision-support needs and in compliance with CU Boulder accessibility and brand standards
- Proficiency in using SQL, Python, R, and/or SAS for data queries, data manipulation, and analysis
- Proficiency in using Tableau or other data visualization tool for data visualization
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supervisory or technical leads to implement data visualization and business intelligence standard processes
- Design and refine dashboards and data visualizations, including highly complex projects
- Use expertise specifically related to CU Boulder institutional and survey data through data querying, manipulation and analysis; reporting on institutional data and survey data; data visualization; and applying principles of accessibility
- Identify, review, arrange, and collect data to meet project specifications and minimize the limitations of subsequent analyses and reports
- Curate appropriate data sets to optimize sustainable analytics, reports, and/or data products
- Recommend and use appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods to meet campus partners’ needs

- Full-time, hybrid position that will primarily work remote, 30-40 hours / week, for 6 months
