Requirements
- 1+ year in the metals industry with some level of product knowledge
- Experience using a CRM to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness
Responsibilities
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new business
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management
- Works closely with inside sales and production teams to ensure customer needs are met and problems are adequately resolved in a timely and complete fashion
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on territory and customer sales
