Kloeckner needs to develop and maintain sales within a geographical area, meet customer needs, and grow business aligned with company strategy.

Requirements

  • 1+ year in the metals industry with some level of product knowledge
  • Experience using a CRM to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness

Responsibilities

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new business
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management
  • Works closely with inside sales and production teams to ensure customer needs are met and problems are adequately resolved in a timely and complete fashion
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on territory and customer sales
