Emerson is looking for a Test and Evaluation Engineer Co-op to provide technical input and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts, working in a team environment applying engineering principles to develop new products.
Requirements
- High Mechanical proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace Engineering or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and acquire required test equipment /fixtures from vendors
- Conduct product evaluations
- Setup and complete laboratory testing
- Document tests conducted, results, problems encountered, and the solutions you developed
- Participate in global multi-functional teams, including marketing, designers, manufacturing, sales and procurement
- Complete other tasks as they are delegated
Other
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Junior or Senior standing
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Winter/Spring Co-op experience in McKinney, TX from January 2026 to June 2026
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a professional environment
