Raytheon needs a Test and Validation Engineer II to support production and testing of complex electronic systems, units, and modules for military radar and communications products at their Forest, MS facility.
Requirements
- Experience analyzing test data and / or determining if hardware meets specification
- Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware
- Interpret product specifications and requirements
- Previous experience with use of optical fiber in communication systems
- Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics
- Experience performing analysis of technical data
- Lab experience with RF network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining Test Procedures
- Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment)
- Maintaining related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specifying replacement equipment when required (obsolescence)
- Training technicians to use Test Procedures and providing written directions for trouble shooting instruction
- Transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides
- Training entry level Test Engineers on test process

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Some travel will be required
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
