Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on writing code in Python.
- Experience using Pytest and related test framework libraries (MagicMock, PyUnit, Selenium, etc) to assist you in building and maintaining scalable test automation code.
- Direct experience developing with AWS core resources and technologies such as DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, SSM parameters, Secret Manager, AppConfig, etc.
- Experience with other testing tools such as Selenium, Behave, etc.
- Experience testing on SPA frontend applications using React.
- Knowledge of applied cryptography, cryptographic algorithms, and proofs.
- Domain expertise in cloud security, embedded security, and mobile application security.
Responsibilities
- Software development with a focus on writing test automation code for our frontend, backend and middleware services that support cloud vehicle services.
- Enhance and improve on our custom test automation framework that is built in python and adheres to SOLID design patterns.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test automation codebase for functional, regression and performance testing across our frontend, backend and middleware services.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the team during our day-to-day development activities.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployments.
- Mentor and guide junior test automation engineers.
- Work in an Agile scrum environment where your focus is on attending Sprint cadences and collaborating with your team to deliver software.

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS, EE, CECS, or equivalent, or equivalent professional experience
- Worked in an Agile scrum environment, whereby you participated in scrum cadences for the entire SDLC project
- CISSP, CISA, and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications.
- Domain expertise in the automotive industry, quality, regulatory, product planning, or manufacturing processes.
