Hitachi Energy is seeking a Test Engineer to participate in the development and application of various processes and utilization of specialized equipment to efficiently accomplish objectives such as testing, production, modification, or repair of Hitachi Energy products.

Requirements

  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, design, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory
  • Experience with computer-assisted engineering or design software
  • Experience with LEAN methodology

Responsibilities

  • Write, maintain and analyze process recipes within several digital environments.
  • Compile and assimilate data from various sources, conduct relatively routine operations and tests, prepare reports and develop graphics for presentations
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment or major repairs.
  • Integrate electrical systems with renewable energy systems to improve overall efficiency.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
  • Design, implement, maintain, or improve manufacturing testing instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, design, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
